Regardless of their species, parrots need to be kept in a clean, roomy environment. When choosing a new home for their birds, owners should looks for cages in simple styles that are easy to clean. Because parrots are sensitive to extreme temperatures and fumes, their homes should be not placed in the kitchen or in direct sunlight.
