History

The Olde Boston Bulldogge is a bulldog breed that originates in Boston, Massachusetts, USA some during the 1800s. This breed was bred to be the best possible dog fighting breed during the 19th century, but it turned out to be very good-natured, very affectionate and very adorable!

This is the original version of the Boston Bulldog breed. This is als0 the breed is where the modern Boston Terrier was bred and developed from. The Olde Boston Bulldogge was once called “round-headed Bull and Terriers” of Boston, a breed that is considered to be the old-type of terriers that were bred and used in Boston. They are a distinct and separate breed from the modern Boston terrier.
