A Doggie 4 You currently consists of two programs
1) A Doggie 4 You rescues dogs from kill facilities and unsafe environments, fully vet the dogs, then adopt them to loving families
2)The Hill Country Daisy Fund helps hill country rescues in by providing monetary support for adoptable animals in shelters who have a treatable injury or illness or low income individuals who need assistance with food or veterinary care in order to keep their pet.
Adoption application is required. Applications are checked by contacting references and veterinarians of those with pets to ensure our pups go to the best homes possible. A picture of your home or yard may be requested
All dogs and puppies are fully vetted prior to adoption (spay/neuter, rabies, 3 DHPP, bordetella and heartworm test/treat if positive) and are micro-chipped.
Our fees start at $200, transport out of Texas is arranged by us and is generally an additional $200.
We work hard to place dogs into the right families, but sometimes we realize the fit isn't quite working out for the adopter or the pet. Our contract requires if an adoption does not work out the dog is to be returned to us. We need at least two weeks notice.
About Spirit

Spirit is a mature neutered male poodle born in 2013 that has been through hell in his life. He was a loving companion until his momma left him with a relative that apparently abused him. When he got here he would charge and attack anyone he felt was a threat. We got him 07/01/2016.
Now he loves getting treats and being groomed. But when he has had enough, he gives a warning growl. He hasn't bit anyone in three years, but he is not suitable for a family with children because he is unpredictable. He wants to be loved on, but gets jealous if another dog comes up for attention. He really needs a home with someone who is patient and kind.
