Sheila is a purebred Akbash. She and her sister were purchased by a farmer in Texas to be livestock dogs and they would much rather be a "couch potato" so he no longer wanted them. Sheila is currently about a year old as of today. (4/16/19). She was rescued from a high kill shelter in Texas after being dumped there with her sister. Sheila is great with other dogs and kids. Not cat tested but suspect that they would chase them due to their breed. This girl would love to find a family that will adore her as much as she will love them!  She currently weighs about 90 pounds. As always, we never guarantee the breed OR the size they'll be as an adult.
