I’m Oscar and now that I’ve settled into my foster home a bit more, I wanted to let you know a few things about me. I am confident, outgoing and funny. I’ve heard of Chihuahuas that are afraid of their own shadow, puleeeez. Even though I came from doggie jail, rode in a van for several hours, said goodbye to my brother Ozzie, met many new people, got in a car again for a long ride and found myself among 4 dogs, 3 cats and 2 yaks I was totally fine. I most likely have Basenji in my bloodlines because of my yodeling abilities.I love people so much. Every ounce of my 20 pounds is filled with love. I get emotional just talking about it. I just want to be with you. TV Binging, Hikes, Car rides, snuggling in bed after a tough day. It doesn’t matter as long as I’m with you. I am a fast learner. My foster mom says I’m the smartest dog in the house, but shhh, the others can’t know. I figured out the doggie door right away but also ask to go outside if it is shut.  I know to go to my kennel to eat and sleep. I would love if you, my forever people, decide that you want to share your bed with me. I don’t take up much space. My foster mom says I don’t have seniority though. I know what “off” means, but I prefer “on”.  I am learning to respect cats and yaks. I love other dogs. I love fruits and veggies, especially peas. I love when you throw the ball in the air so I can show off my leaping abilities (please request video). I am so excited to meet you I can’t contain myself.
