This 11-12 pound cutie is Peanut. He is around 8 years old and is most likely a Terrier and Chihuahua mix. He is sweet, spunky, and loves everyone! Peanut is a bit shy when first meeting new people or animals but he quickly acclimates and warms up wonderfully. He has done great with the small and medium sized dogs in his foster home. He has no experience with cats. He knows his name, the command "sit", "no", and "go outside." He is great on a leash and does sit on or next to his foster mom for some personal time when the other dogs aren't around. He is great in a crate and has a fun personality but is also independent and somewhat cautious.   Peanut is playful and loves to snuggle in his blankets. Based on his current behavior, he requires another small and friendly dog in his adoptive home with whom to play and socialize. Since Because Peanut is so small with very skinny, long legs, he is approved for households with children over 10 years of age. Peanut is housebroken. He will make a great addition for a loving individual or family.   This dog has been examined by a licensed veterinarian, neutered, inoculated against diseases, dewormed, tested for heartworm disease (neg) and placed on monthly preventatives, plus microchipped.
