Nola is a sweet little 8 yr old Maltese/Poodle mix who weighs 7lbs. She's super sweet, affectionate and loves to snuggle on your lap and just be near you. She'll insist on sleeping in your bed, but she sleeps through the night and wakes up when you do! Nola walks like a dream on a leash and gets excited when she sees you get her leash out. She's in a foster home with other dogs and cats and gets along fine with everyone. Even though she doesn't have many teeth, she loves to play with plush little dog and cat toys and has no problem eating her dry food. In fact, she'll give you a perky little bark if you take too long getting her meal ready. She's always a happy little girl who loves greeting people and has never met a stranger. An all adult home with a fenced yard (fence must be attached to the home) is required to adopt from Hart-2-Heart Rescue. There is an application process and adoption fee. We are an all-volunteer organization, and in addition to saving dogs, we have other responsibilities, so we appreciate your patience and understanding during this process. Response time can take up to 5 business days. Please inquire only if you are willing to come to Greensboro, North Carolina to meet the dog after we schedule your home visit. We do not ship dogs or put them on transports. Adoption fee is $400. Veterinary Care: All Hart-2-Heart Rescue foster dogs are spayed/neutered, current on heartworm prevention, parvo/distemper, bordetella, and rabies vaccines and are professionally groomed. As needed, our foster dogs have teeth cleanings, extractions, bloodwork and other diagnostic testing.
