Tilly's adoption donation is $225 and she is being fostered in Northern Ohio. She has been spayed, microchipped, received her rabies, distemper/parvo, bivalent canine influenza, and bordetella vaccines, tested negative for heartworms, started on prevention as well as flea prevention.  Due to her previous neglect, she required an extensive dental cleaning which required all of her diseased teeth to be removed.   Tilly came into rescue from a high kill shelter as she was not doing well in the shelter environment.  She most likely came from a commercial breeder and was found in a field in Amish country.  Tilly is an approximately 10 year old Yorkshire terrier who is still quite shy but has made significant progress on trusting people.  She has come a long way in her foster home and will require a quiet, patient home with a securely fenced yard, and a companion dog.  Tilly's ideal adopter will give her the time and space she needs to acclimate to her new surroundings.  She has also made a lot of progress on potty training and does better when kept on a schedule.
