Max/Maxie is a Terrier mix - possibly Border, Norfolk, Cairn or Yorkshire Terrier – who is around 9 years old and currently 27 pounds. Max has a soft coat that requires routine grooming. Don’t let Max's age fool you. Max is an energetic, playful guy who LOVES to play with toys whether inside the home or outside in the yard. He also enjoys “protecting” the yard from squirrels or other critters. Additionally, Max really likes to explore the neighborhood while going for walks, tapping into his inner Terrier. He is so cute! Maxie is a sensitive dog who can be shy initially; he would do best in a calm, adult only home with a securely fenced yard for him to play, sunbathe, and toilet in. Max has lived in a foster home with two little Yorkshire Terriers with whom he does very well; he could live with another dog (easy-going dog) with proper introductions, but would also be OK as the only dog in the home. No cats. This guy does not require crating when his foster mom leaves the home for work. Max is sweet and cuddly with his foster mom and would enjoy laying next to you on the couch or in the recliner once in a while as well. He deserves his forever home - please consider this wonderful Terrier!
