About Lavry

Distance: 1,565 Miles
This is such a sweet guy, he showed up at a volunteers home looking sadly through the door for a bit of food.  He scarfed it down like he hadnt been fed in quite some time.  After showing up a couple times this way, the volunteer took him in to get neutered and vaccinated.  We then found out that he has the Feline Leukemia virus.  He is now living at the shelter and hoping for the special family he deserves.  Lavry, boy, born approx 2005. HELP Humane is a non-profit TRUE No Kill animal shelter currently run on individual donations and fundraising alone. (just south of Kansas City). All HELP animals are treated by veterinarians, receive age appropriate vaccinations, dewormed, spayed/neutered and those incoming after Oct 2005, have been micro chipped. Cats have been FeLV/FIV tested and are negative unless otherwise stated. Dogs have been heartworm tested and are on heartworm preventative. We have been told by many adopters that the reason they liked adopting from us is because we have a happy place and all the cats are the friendliest ones they had ever met. HELP Humane believes that all life is precious and is therefore, a TRUE No Kill shelter. We have many FIV and FeLV+ cats in our care. They will live with us until they end their life’s journey or find a permanent home. Come Visit Us! Our hours of operation are Tuesday - Friday, 1pm - 8pm, Saturday 10am - 6pm, Sunday 12pm - 5pm, closed on Monday. 511 Main St. Belton, MO 64012 816-318-HELP www.helppets.org Adoption fees vary according to the needs of the animal up for adoption.
