Indian Summers Border Collie Rescue is a Support Program for the Ohio American Indian Council, Inc. founded in Ohio in 1982, a non profit for charity org. Dr. Victoria Summers, a 50 veteran of rescue, is the co-founder and executive director of Indian Summers Border Collie Rescue, a 30 dog fully operative rescue faculty on sight and A Place of Hope Sr. Dog and Hospice care shelter. Pre Adoption Application, Phone conversations, Home visit, Meet and greets at Rescue facility, Vet references and 3 non family reference checks, Sex offender/animal abuse/criminal record search, Final Adoption approval, Signed Adoption Contract with Life time tracking and Veterinary records for life of pet privilege. No fees prior to final adoption fee. Adoption fee scale varies from Cash or dog food donation of adopter's choice of value or cash donation $250 to $450 depending on the dog in question.

Indian Summers Border Collie Rescue is a multi faceted organization. With programs that address the many needs of the animals in its care. The Rescue programs takes in the homeless and needy and houses, rehabs, medically treats and then places each individual into the proper home and family best suited for that individual. The Shelter program houses, rehabs, medically treats those individuals that have a low rate of adoption for reasons such as but not limited to: behavioral issues, chronic heath issues either life threatening or medicated managed, such as cancer, autoimmune diseases, renal failure, spinal and skeletal maladies. The ISBCRezQâs Shelter program offers a place for life to these individuals as well as Senior dogs at our Silver Muzzle Country Club. Our Senior and Shelter programs are run entirely via public donations. We run our non profit organization with an all volunteer, no paid staff, Your donations are tax deductible and 100% of your donation goes directly to the care of ISBCRezQ Border Collies.
