Beauty is a gorgeous girl that had a rough start. One of our volunteers found her and her kittens freezing in the yard. We were able to save them and her kittens have been adopted. Beauty developed a strong bond with her savior. She loved the lady and would enjoy long cuddling sessions and nap time in her lap. Unfortunately, her mom was not able to keep her due to a sickness in the family and she came back to us. As difficult as it is Beauty took it even harder than most cats would. She still has not forgiven us for taking her from her home. We think that in a quiet home and with love and patience Beauty will recover her loving self. But it will be a 6-9 weeks process. You would need to keep her in one small room (preferably your bedroom) and spend time just sitting, talking or even singing to her.
