Louie is 3/4 beagle, 1/4 pug, born 10-27-16. 30 lbs. House trained, leash trained.  In his previous home he was an only dog and did some resource guarding of his food and over the years became protective of his mom with whom he spent his days.  When she was not around, he is great with his dad.   The reason he is needing another home is the arrival of a baby has caused concern with his protectiveness.  He has bit, broken skin in the past...mostly his dad's.  The folks have hired two trainers to help, without success. We want an experienced dog family who will follow our advice; no young children.  OK as your one and only, though at B&B,  he's been pretty calm and quiet, and has mingled nicely with the other dogs. He has a very recent good blood panel.
