More about the shelter
D.R.E.A.M. Animal Rescue is a non profit organization dedicated to saving pet's lives from enuthanization in high kill shelters, neglect, abuse & hoarding situations.
Founder, Jonnie Ben, had a cat named Ditto that brought her love for over 20 years. Her love of cats and dogs brought her to realize her DREAM of creating this rescue.
Not only does Jonnie want to rescue pets and find furever loving homes but she wants to educate the public on pet welfare, shelter awareness & pet care.
Our adoption fee is $150 for kittens up to one year, $100 for kitties up to 5 years, $75 for adult kitties over 5 with discounts for 2 or more. This is to help cover the medical & boarding costs.
We do require and adoption application and adoption agreement and do usually require a home check. Our dogs all require the same and are always $250. All are up to date on shots, neutered/spayed, and ready to go home healthy.

Apply at www.dreamar.org Luckey is a very large regal long haired black kitty. He is 4 years old. He is such a funny cat! There is no place too high for him! There is no drawer he can’t open! He is VERY shy when he meets someone new. Takes a couple of days for him to start trusting!
He is very lucky because he was saved by his foster Mom when she found his long beautiful hair tangled around a rosemary bush. He was stuck and could not get free. She was able to free him and he is so grateful. It was determined that his previous owner had moved out of state and left him behind. He is so happy to be safe inside now and is looking for a loving home. Luckey loves feeding time. He will stand up on his hind legs like a dog to show his excitement. He loves to sleep up high on a perch. He also enjoys playing with a feather cat toy. He scratches happily on his cat scratchers and uses the litter box very well. He is shy when he first meets new people, but once he warms up to you he will show his affection by rubbing his head against your hand. He is so relaxed with his foster Mom that he allows her to pick him up for hugs and photos, then he is off to play. We do not know if Luckey has been around other cats or dogs. Luckey is fostered in Murrieta. Apply to meet him today.
