About SCOOTS

Distance: 1,545 Miles
That face. Those eyes. Scoots will melt your heart. He has intervertebral disk disease, which affects his hindquarters. Sometimes he is able to stand on all four legs and take a few steps, but mostly he relies on his front legs to go places. Scoots is a super happy little boy who scampers around without a care, always upbeat and excited to see you and play with his toys. But his favorite pasttime is being held and petted. Scoots' Cheat Sheet: * Love sponge. So sweet and friendly * Good with kids * Likes other animals * Easy to walk using sling or wheelchair * Needs a yoga-mat like surface for traction and comfort. * Needs someone who can keep him clean and cared for. * Needs to continue physical therapy to keep him strong. Are you ready for a special spirit who will fill your heart to overflowing? Scoots is available for adoption to someone who can continue to work with him. He would be the ideal special-needs companion for someone who works from home. He's worth it! You can meet him between 12 and 4 any day of the week except Monday. If you adopt by May 15, 2024, the fee is only $25 thanks to Bissell Pet Foundation's Empty the Shelters event.
