Handsome, smart, athletic, affectionate... stunning brindle boy MUNCHY is the total package. Munchy is a 2 year old 42 pound mixed breed guy, our best guess is a boxer mix. He is an intelligent people-oriented dog who's always up for adventure. He loves to go for runs and loves to romp around in the yard and play with his toys. He also loves to stare deeply into your eyes and beg for treats. When playtime is over Munchy is a world class cuddler. He is a fan favorite among our volunteers. We all need a little quality time with Munchy at our events. ​ Munchy always looks so serious in photos but he's actually a total goofball. He's best suited to a home with a physically-fenced yard and a well-stocked toy basket. Munchy would be fine with a well-balanced similar sized dog, or he'd be fine as an only dog. If you'd like to meet Munchy, please fill out a dog adoption application at dreamhouserescue.org. We are happy to arrange a private meet with an approved adopter. You can meet Munchy at our weekly adoption event, Saturday noon-2 at PetSmart Eastgate. All of our fully-vetted adoptable dogs go to prospective homes for a one-week trial period to make sure the dog and home are the right fit before an adoption is finalized. We only adopt dogs into homes where all current pets are spayed/neutered and current on vaccines and heartworm and flea and tick prevention. We do check veterinary references to make sure adopters are compliant with standard veterinary care. Our adoption fee covers the dog’s veterinary care, including spay/neuter surgery, vaccines, microchip, deworming, flea and tick prevention, heartworm prevention and any other needed veterinary care. A deposit is required to take a dog home for a trial period. The deposit will be applied to the dog’s final adoption fee.
