ADOPTION PENDINGHi there! My name is Bruno, and it really does suit me perfectly! I am your typical Bulldog… I am so affectionate and want to cuddle as much as you will let me. I like to sleep – a lot (I’m not young anymore) and I can be stubborn. I like a nice soft place to lay down, no hard floors for me – a nice comfy, cushy dog bed or the couch, preferably with you beside me. I have my meals 2x a day, and I have a built-in alarm clock – I will let you know when it's time to eat. I do have allergies – foster mom has a report – mostly environmental, so I need medicated baths, but some food as well so we need to be on the right page for that. I am on a daily pill (Apoquel) that makes me feel so much better. I should also mention that my foster mom makes me wear these belly bands (I’m so embarrassed to be wearing a diaper!) at bedtime and if she is going to be away for long. I sleep really hard, and I often piddle, which she says is stinky. I have also been a little ticked off a couple of times and peed right there in the house – so – belly bands it is. Just so you know, I am fully house trained – most times the belly band is dry when she takes it off, but just in case! I love to go for a walk, but let’s keep it kind of short, and slow if you please. I have an old injury to my knee, so we get this pain shot that helps me to be comfortable and I don’t like to overdo it. I do love car rides and sticking my nose out the window if you are going slow enough. All the people who meet me just love me. I also LOVE to spread out on the deck and soak up the sun. I’m living with 3 other fur dogs right now, but I get jealous of my FM and can get “bully-ish” with them – I like the ones that are really quiet and stay out of my way, but that one that doesn’t back down – I don’t think I would want to stay with her for too long. If I was your only special dog, I would be ecstatic! If you think you have a forever place for an old man bulldog who has more love to give than you can imagine, reach out and come meet me.
