Cedric was at the shelter when our rescue was called to pick up some other dogs needing rescue. He wasn’t on our initial list, but we met him and just knew he would be coming along for his freedom ride. This fabulous boy is the favorite of every volunteer and befriends absolutely everyone he meets. Cedric is the perfect size to join his people on every adventure ahead and we know that he will be the missing piece his new family has been searching for!    Cedric is an all-around perfect dog. He is well-trained, eager to please, and very chill. After he relaxed into his foster home, he blossomed into a total cuddle bug. This dude loves pets, belly rubs, and head scratches. Looking for a furry little shadow? Cedric would love to follow you around as you go about your day, but he’s also fine entertaining himself when his people are busy. Just give him a treat or a toy and he’s all set. Cedric adores all people he meets and greets them nicely. He even gives hugs when he’s feeling especially adorable, putting his paws on your legs and giving you the best puppy dog eyes. Cedric is perfect for a home looking for a walk companion followed by a “chill on the couch” session. He’s not a typical terrier in that way. He’s perfectly fine to romp around the neighborhood and then binge watch some TV. Cedric is also fully house and crate trained. He is simply the best!  Cedric starts his day at 7 AM with a trip outside for a potty break. He then plays with his toys as his foster family gets ready for the day before he gets his breakfast. He gets his first walk of the day around 8:30 AM as he joins the foster kids on their trip to school. When he returns from his walk, he spends the rest of his morning and afternoon romping around the yard, following his foster mom, playing with his toys, and snoozing hours away. It’s a hard life being an adorable dog, we know. Cedric gets his dinner at 6 PM and then gets a long evening walk, where he sniffs all the good smells the world has to offer. At night, Cedric soaks up all the kisses, pets, and snuggles his foster family has to offer as he watches TV and squeaks his toys. After one more potty trip, Cedric heads to bed with dreams of treats and his forever family!  Cedric adores other dogs and wants to play with everyone he meets. He would do great as either a sibling to a resident dog or as a solo pup. He also adores people of all ages, cuddling with the foster kids in his house happily. Prepare for lots of puppy kisses with Cedric in your future! Cedric walks fabulously on a leash and loves to sniff the world. He even tries to befriend squirrels! Cedric is ready to make your dreams come true, so what are you waiting for?    Cedric would be a fabulous first-time dog or a dog for those with lifetime dog experience. He is just a totally perfect boy in every way. Kids in the home should be over the age of 6.
