Leslie is a great lab/basset mix, playful and active with beautiful golden brown eyes that look like bright polished amber. Brown and white, with a pretty merle pattern on her ears. She was born in January of 2008 and is about 40#. Good with dogs and older, considerate kids. Probably not housetrained. Leash trained.   She is shy on first meeting, but is a friendly and easy going gal once she trusts you. She will need a patient home that can allow her that time.  We recommend spritzing Rescue Remedy on her snout and bottoms of her feet, put some in her water, use the candy form, soothing music, lavender incense ++++   She likes to play with big male dogs, though she is the boss.   **She is the dog who has been here the longest and would love a family willing to take a chance on her.  Her lucky day!  Got a wonderful home with a long time volunteer and donor who has adopted troublesome dog in the past who have done tremendously with her family.  Way to go Leslie!
