About Madrid

Distance: 1,140 Miles
Madrid is ready to find his forever home. He is about 10 years old, but don't let that fool you. He has the mentality and energy of a younger dog. He is very playful and enjoys playing with other dogs.  He is house and crate trained.  If you would like to meet Madrid, please put an application in. He is ready for a foster home or to be adopted.   Poor Madrid was adopted and recently returned due to no fault of his own.  He was the casualty of a divorce where no one was able to keep him.  He is anxious to find a new family that he can love and that will love him back.   Madrid needs lots of time to exercise and enjoys running at dog park!  He isn't a fan of cats but loves other dogs and people!  Madrid has a great temperament and was previously raised with children.  Recently, we learned that Madrid does well in public places with other dogs (dog parks, meeting on a leash, etc.), but he becomes possessive and protective in a home setting. The best home for him would be one where he is the only dog in the home, but where he can also visit a dog park or public events frequently as he is very social.
