Piper has been in our rescue for 8 years. We got piper from a local shelter when her time was up and she came to us. When piper was a young pup she was feisty and many pet owners want several dogs. Now that she’s matured Piper enjoys spending her time with all dogs all shapes and sizes. Piper desires to be loved and accepted regardless of her age status. She needs a special someone to see past her gray whiskers and into her beautiful soul.   Adopting a senior can be scary. One typically wants a younger dog who can keep up with them. If you’re someone who enjoys your fur babies just as is please consider Piper. Her health is prime and we have kept her active and socialized these last 8 years. Please let her last 8 years be with you. She’s house broke and playful. She’d be ideal for a family or senior person themselves. Someone who has enough love to give my old grandma girl.   As she’s aged she doesn’t see as well so older kids are suggested. We’ve noticed when young kids run up to her she falls back a bit not knowing what’s coming at her. She doesn’t like cats but she does like dogs. Since she is our grandma dog she can’t handle being jumped on a whole lot. I don’t know many that can. She has a little limp. Got it checked out turns out she’s healthy and that’s just how she struts.  Even if you aren’t sure about adopting a dog today talk to us about being a foster. We need our pups to be socialized and loved. You could be that person.  Piper loves playing with toys and especially balls of any type. She loves playing fetch and will even bring the ball back to you. She can run really fast and just enjoys trotting around the yard looking like a Princess.
