Foster update, December of 2019: Bailey is such a pleasure to have as a foster but she’s looking for her forever home. She’s such a good girl that she doesn’t have to be crated when you go out. She’s looking for a quiet home where she’ll be the only pet. She makes a great companion because she loves to be by your side. She also loves car rides and walks. Bailey loves to chase a Frisbee but is just as content to watch a movie with you.  Of course she will encourage you to share the popcorn with her because who doesn't love popcorn and a movie?  She knows some basic commands and responds well to firm but loving handling.  It has been a great partnership so far. She has taught us to pick up our socks off the floor because, if you don't, there is nothing more fun in her eyes than stealing them. She is not good with strangers and would need a quieter home and someone who will take the time to earn her trust.  She should have a fenced in yard and a home with no children By being patient and spending time with her, we have discovered a wonderful, loyal, and sometimes comical friend.  Bailey will be a blessing and a gift and your best friend if you just give her a chance.  Sometimes when she is sitting there with a glint in her eye and a smile on her face, we laugh and say, Do you think she is thinking "I am faster than you... I am prettier than you... and I am smarter than you"?  I for one am glad she doesn't play chess.  I would hate for her to know that she is right. Bailey is a fabulous dog and deserves a home of her very own.
