About Bailey Beagle

Distance: 463 Miles
Bailey Beagle was born July 29, 2008 and weighs about 30 lbs.  She's the most incredible color of chocolates I've ever seen on a Beagle!  She is great with kids and loves to play, cuddle, and snooze after a nice walk.  She's wonderful around the other dogs unless there is food and she has grumped a few times, but then backed off.  If there is another dog in her next home they should be fed separately.  For an older gal she has kept her figure beautifully!  She does need a fenced yard or a leash because if off leash she tends to wander, yes, she is a Beagle.  Bailey was abandoned by her first owner, someone took her in and they neglected her leaving her alone much of the time.  Then JR adopted Bailey into a home where she was loved by her human dad, but then he passed away so she is back with us.  She has settled in beautifully and is very loving and devoted to her humans.  She is in incredible physical condition regardless of age.  She easily jumps on the bed about 2 1/2 feet high.  She may not hear the best or is it the stubborn Beagle side of her - hard to tell so far.  We TRULY hope her next home will actually be her forever home....   The adoption fee for Bailey is $250.00. Joyful Rescues has no funding except for our adoption fees and miscellaneous donations.  Pet care and vet bills are expensive -  you must be ready to take on this financial (as well as emotional) responsibility. In general our fees include spay/neuter, all age appropriate vaccines, Home Again micro-chipping & registration, a small bag of Science Diet food, worming & flea control.
