Adopted out as a puppy almost 10 years ago, Boo thought he was home for good. But he was recently returned to us because the stress of a new baby in the house made him very anxious and protective. We feel that Boo really needs a quiet, adult-only home with someone who can give him the time and attention he craves and has been missing. Boo will follow his people from room to room, just wanting to be near them. If given the chance, he will be your faithful, loving and obedient companion - he just wants someone to love. In spite of his age, Boo still is very playful and he has quite a lot of energy. He likes to play "fetch" (he loves toys) and if you're going for a car ride, he'd love to come along. He can be strong on a leash and is a little stubborn when he wants to be. The best home for him would be one who has few visitors as he bonds strongly with his owners. He does not do well in shared wall situations, such as apartments or condos, as the neighboring noises cause high levels of stress for him. Boo has never lived with another dog and can be selective with them when meeting on walks, etc., so we are not sure how he would do with another dog in the home.
