Memphis is a beautiful, solid grey Russian Blue-ish cat, very people friendly & outgoing - greets visitors and is very comfortable with new people!  He was adopted 8 years ago but sadly, due to the health of the owner, needs to find a new home .  He had gotten quite heavy in his home but we got him to a nice weight at 12.5 pounds.  He looks good.   His owner had contacted us because of her health, but then Memphis had issues.  She treated him at first then in a panic, abandoned him at our vet.  She gave up on him but we did not!  We took him in and have been treating him for suspected mega colon....however he is doing great.  He is on 2 medications and has been quite "regular."  He gets wet food and loves his temptation treats.   He just recently had a dental and had 3 teeth removed....he feels much better now we think!  He loves the laser light and even plays with toys.  Such a good boy! Memphis was born spring of 2008.  He first came to us back in December of 2011 because of a foreclosure, and now again, because the owner gave up on him.  He is a big, laid back boy!  Back when we first had him he was ok with some dogs and was not a great fan of other cats.  But since he has lived with a cat for awhile, he seems just fine.  In his foster home he is with several cats and does well...but always humans are his first love.  He is so social and sweet....he cannot get enough petting.  So LOVING!!  He just wants somebody to love....he just needs somebody to love!
