About Lilee of Cary - ready for description

Distance: 630 Miles
Date into Rescue: 4/5/2019 Reason for being in rescue: Lilee originally came to CPR in 2012. She was adopted quickly and through no fault of her own ended up in a tough situation. Lilee is back at CPR, has received the medical care she needed, and is ready for her forever home! Foster location: Dreamweaver Farms, Pacolet SC Special Needs? Lilee is developing cataracts, which is not unusual given her age. She had a dental in early April but will require ongoing continued dental care. Weight: 8.5 lbs Height: in Spayed/Neutered: Yes Adoption Fee: $200 Fence needed? No What kind of home would be best for me? Lilee is a shy, sweet senior lady. All this girl wants is a lap to sit in during the day. Lilee needs a quiet home where she can be someone's princess. She does not want a lot of visitors or even activity, just a lot of love. What is my personality like? Sweet Lilee. Our beautiful girl with the soulful eyes that have seen so much is 14 years young. Lilee has had a lot of change in the past 8 weeks. She went from living in poor conditions to being rescued by concerned citizens to a safe haven at Dreamweaver Farms. Frankly, she is still processing it all. Life was very quiet for a while and we have turned that upside down. Lilee is eager to get back to the quiet life she is accustomed to. She is okay on a leash but not overly interested in long walks. She'd be fine with a daily stroll but equally happy to go outside and potty and come back in to enjoy a lap. Lilee is most comfortable with other dogs - she has been around them her entire life. She is completely indifferent to cats. Calm and gentle Lilee is looking for her retirement home. You will be rewarded with a constant companion to whom you will everything! How do I act when I first meet new people? Shy but gentle Other tips and tidbits: Lilee has lived in tough conditions for the past few years. She has received much-needed medical and dental care and is feeling much better. This beautiful girl is ready to retire in a loving home! House trained? Dogs can be house trained if they are in the right environment and are allowed to follow a schedule as long as a physical reason doesn't keep them from being trained.  A dog house trained in my home may not be in yours. We will help you teach your new dog this necessary skill and based on your schedule.
