Gabrielle is the sibling of Angel, the kitten who was hit by a car in Elizabeth, about 11 weeks old, and came in very scared and hissy.  He is starting to warm up to pets and seems like he'll be fine. Update from Robin about Gabby.  called Robert last night to check up on Gabby.  She is still keeping the bathroom as her safe space, but enjoys pets and rubs by Robert and when his friends come over they all love her.  She ventures out of the bathroom, but is not yet a "couch" kitty.  Guess it takes awhile to get used to not being at the shelter with all the goings on there.  Greyscale, the other kitty in the house, is dealing ok with her and visa versa.  Not best buds, but not enemies either.  Robert is very patient with Gabby and is letting her make the decisions of where she wants to be and feels comfortable.  A very nice guy. 10/24/23  Gabby is finally out of the bathroom! She’s still not best buds with Grayscale, the other cat but is making baby steps. She is working on it. Robert was amazed how playful she was with his friends over and loves the laser toy. She is still low key but he is confident that she will come around eventually.
