Love is patient, love is kind, and all that Bastet hopes to find.  Bastet is an extraordinarily affectionate and loving animal, who has sadly dealt with being abandoned twice. She will shower you with affection if you let her lead the dance and give her the space and time to know that she can trust you with her heart, but she can become feisty if you overwhelm her or pick her up without consent. Although Bastet does have some emotional triggers, she is a wonderful companion who longs to find a secure and serene home to call her own.  She wakes her foster mom every morning with kisses and face rubs, and she loves to tuck in tight at her human’s side for a cuddle and a purr.  She is a champion “little spoon” who will sleep nestled right against you for warmth. This teeny, tiny senior has some anxiety living in a multiple cat environment, so she would likely do best as an only child with little chaos and competition.    Homes with small children and multiple animals would not be a good fit.
