Kale originally came to EHR as a puppy back in 2013 with his sibling Kandy. He was quickly adopted and renamed Max. 6 years later, this boy was returned to EHR through no fault of his own. Max is a big man that loves to run around his yard, play fetch with his unstuffed toys, and sunbathe.  After a long day running around, he loves to cuddle up on the couch with his family. While Max loves kids of any age, he would do best in a home ages 8 and up due to his size. He loves to play with them and can accidently knock them over.  He does not do well with other animals, and must be kept separate from other dogs. When he meets new people, he gets so excited, will jump on them and give lots of kisses. Max is housebroken, not destructive, and is calm and relaxed in the home.  He is cuddly and loves belly rubs. He knows some simple commands, including sit and paw. Max is good on a leash, but does get excited if he sees other animals.
