Meet Gus! An adorable medium sized Terrier mix (37 lbs.) who's about 8 years old. He is housebroken & non-destructive in his foster home. Gus loves to cuddle, play, and go for rides in the car. While he very much enjoys his walks, he can pull a bit on leash (especially if he sees any squirrels!) and does best in low traffic environments.   Gus is protective of his owners  and any potential adopters will need to meet Gus several times. He would do best in a quiet home with one or two dog-SAVVY adults, no children, and minimal visitors. Gus likes dogs around his size or larger.  He does not do well with small dogs or cats.  It takes some time to earn this sweet boy's trust, but we can guarantee the bond he forms with you is so rewarding and worth it all in the end.
