My name is Apple. I'm a spunky 8 years young  beautiful, big long haired red tabby with Maine Coon characteristics. I mostly like to lounge around and sleep wherever I can. On the couch, under the bed, behind the washer...anywhere. My foster mom likes to call me "solid". I call it more lovin for whoever wants to cuddle me, but whatever. I get along well with other cats, and dogs don't really bother me. I LOVE my string toys. I'll jump out of my nap just to play with them!! I also love scratch posts. I'll scratch all day if you let me!! Before you fall head over heals in love with me (which, I'm sure you already have) I have to tell you... I'm "special needs". Really, it just means I'm extra special, and just need a little more attention (which I LOVE!!) I have diabetes, so I have to have an insulin injection every 12 hours. I hate them, but I'll suffer through for the food!! The good news is, since I'm losing weight, the doctor says I might be able to come off my insulin!! FINGERS CROSSED!! Apple is spayed, and microchipped, and tested negative for FIV and Feline Leukemia. DOB:  November 1, 2010
